Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 August 2026

The short version. Bubble Runes has no servers of its own. It contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking of any kind, and no third-party SDK that collects anything. Nothing about you is sent to us, because there is nowhere for it to arrive. The only data that ever leaves your device goes to Apple, to run features you switch on yourself: iCloud sync, Game Center and purchases.

Who we are

Bubble Runes is made by Dimix Games (Dimitri Giani), Italy. For anything in this policy you can write to dimix@dimix.it.

What stays on your device

Your high score, your personal statistics, your game settings and volume levels, the theme you have equipped, and the list of recent games are stored on your device. They are not sent anywhere, and they are deleted when you delete the app.

What goes to Apple, and why

iCloud sync

Your coin balance, the themes you own, your daily-mission progress and your streak are synchronised through Apple's iCloud key-value store, so they follow you from your iPhone to your iPad. This data is stored in your iCloud account, under Apple's terms, and we cannot read it or access it in any way. If iCloud is switched off for the app, none of it leaves the device — and it is lost if you delete the app, which is why the game tells you so in its Options screen.

Game Center

If you sign in to Game Center, your score is submitted to the game's public leaderboard, where it appears next to the nickname and avatar you have chosen in your Game Center profile. The leaderboard is operated by Apple: we see the same public ranking that everybody else sees, and nothing more. Game Center is optional — the game is fully playable without signing in, and if you never sign in nothing is ever submitted.

Purchases

Coins can be bought through Apple's In-App Purchase system. The entire transaction is handled by Apple: we never see your name, your payment details or your Apple ID. We receive only anonymous, aggregated sales reports from App Store Connect, which say how many of each item were sold in a country — never who bought them.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the game uses local notifications only: they are scheduled by the app on your device, for instance to remind you that a daily mission is about to expire. There is no push server, no device token is generated or sent, and nobody can send you a message through the game.

Sharing

When you share your record, the game creates an image on your device and hands it to the standard iOS share sheet: you choose whether it goes anywhere, and to whom. The App Store link inside that image carries a campaign label, which tells us in App Analytics how many installs came from shared cards in total. It is a counter of installs, not of people: it cannot identify you or anyone who taps it.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, of any age — there is no account to create, no profile to fill in, no message to write. Note that the app offers in-app purchases: on a child's device we recommend Apple's Screen Time restrictions, which block them at the system level.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export and delete the personal data a company holds about you. In our case the honest answer is that we hold none, so there is nothing for us to send you or erase. The data described above lives in your own Apple account, and you control it directly:

  • Game Center: Settings → Game Center, where you can also remove your scores from a leaderboard.
  • iCloud: Settings → your name → iCloud, where you can switch the game's sync off or delete its stored data.
  • Everything else: deleting the app removes the local data with it.

Apple's own handling of that data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Changes to this policy

If the game starts doing something this page does not describe, this page changes first. The date at the top says when it was last touched.
